Salvation means to be rescued or delivered from death. That is exactly what what Jesus Christ did for us on the cross at Calvary. Salvation is the gift of God that is offered to all humanity for their debt to sin through the sacrifice of Jesus Christ. Romans 3:23 states that "all have sinned" and Hebrews 9:22 also says "there can be no forgiveness of sin without the shedding of blood" but because of his great love for us God offered a perfect sacrificial lamb in the form of His son Jesus Christ. John 3:16 says "for God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have everlasting life". So what is salvation to you? It is the forgiveness of your sins in the past, present and future so that you don't have to pay the price of eternal separation from God in a place called Hell. Salvation has delivered you from God's wrath and restored you to a pre sinful creation that God designed you to be.
Salvation is received when we make a public profession about ourselves and our belief in Jesus Christ. This is referred to as the ABC's steps. Where we Admit and take responsibility and acknowledge our sinful state that we are a sinner and we need to be saved from our sins. Where we Believe that Jesus is the gift of salvation from God, He lived a sinless and perfect life, died on the cross for our sins was buried and raised again in 3 days to live forever who has ascended into heaven and is seated at the right hand of God. Then we Confess that Jesus is now lord of our life. Romans 10:9 says "If you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved". If you will Admit you are a sinner, Believe Jesus died for you, and Confess he is your lord you will be saved!
2 Corinthians 6:2 says "Today is the day of salvation". Will today be your day? I could all you have to do is repeat these words; Lord, I know that I am a sinner but I know you sent your son to deliver me from these sins. I believe that he lived a sinless life, willingly took my place and died for me and that death could not hold him and a grave could not keep him and he lives today. I repent of my sins and commit my life, I will trust and follow you as my lord and Savior.

After receiving salvation we are encouraged to reflect the walk of Jesus in a public profession of faith called believers baptism. Believers baptism represents the Death, Burial and Resurrection of Jesus and it represents the Death, Burial of our old former sinful self and a Resurrection of a new life in that we are living in Jesus Christ. If you have accepted Jesus and would like to move forward in believers baptism contact us and we would like to help facilitate this for you.
